On the court, we know we can’t do it alone. We pass, we communicate, we back each other up and we celebrate the wins together. 🏀

So why should off the court be any different?

It’s OK not to be OK, and it’s OK to ask for support when things get tough. You don’t have to go through it on your own.

Check-in with your teammates, your mates, your coaches and the people around you. Ask the question, listen and let them know you’ve got their back.

Because just like basketball, we’re stronger when we play as a team.

Today we’re celebrating all the dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, carers, mentors and father figures who show up, cheer us on, give us advice, and help us become the people we are.

Whether you’re the one on the sidelines, driving to training, helping with the gear, giving the pre-game pep talk or simply being there when it matters - thank you! 🙌

A special shoutout to our awesome dad coaches who give their time, energy and encouragement to help our players grow both on and off the court.
