Great night on the mats at Lotus Club Canungra! 👊

Last night's focus was on standing to open and pass closed guard, followed by a sweep option for the guard player as their opponent begins to stand and pass.

We wrapped things up with some with some positional challenges from closed guard and some hard rounds.
Always great to have a couple of legends from Ashmore make the trip out for a roll.

This Friday at BJJ Lotus Club Canungra 🪷

We’ve got wrestling coach Barratt coming out from Ashmore for a fundamentals-based session focused on stand-up.

This is perfect for anyone who hasn’t spent much time on their feet or wants to build confidence in that area. We’ll be covering simple, effective concepts that transfer directly into BJJ—especially important since every match starts standing.

No-gi focus, but the skills apply across everything we do.

Good fundamentals, good reps, and a chance to sharpen a part of your game most people overlook.
