Following the final week of competition (barring finals) it was congratulations and commiserations to our Pennant teams.

Congratulations to the Purple team for coming in top of the ladder for Division 7 Purple! A great effort. Commiserations (though a hearty 'good try') to our Orange team. It is great to see that we have so many members willing to represent the club and give it a go! 🦉

So, now on to the Final.... come and support your team next Saturday 19 September at Club Musgrave. Starting at 9am, we will be up against Musgrave Hill for a spot in the Grand Final on Sunday. If we lose then it is a preliminary final at 1pm against either Southport or Helensvale. Note that if we make it through to the Grand Final it will be played on Sunday @ Club Tweed 9am.

Our Members Out n About
-----------------------------------------------------------------------Wendy Coleman was committed to playing in our District Ladies Fours competition at Helensvale today - so much so that when we couldn't submit our own team, she happily joined a composite team with Broadbeach & Helensvale! We wish Wendy all the best and hope that she enjoys her day.

Always great to see our members out there representing Canungra Bowls Club! 🦉

Ladies' Classic - Monday 31 August

What a delightful last day of Winter it was on Monday - perfect for our Ladies' Classic!

The Canungra Ladies were excited to welcome 12 teams of Ladies to Canungra for the day. These teams came from 9 different clubs and joined the 2 teams of Canungra players. It was great to see so many familiar faces joining us for our special day. 🥰

Congratulations go to the day's winners and we thank our sponsor, The Outpost Cafe for their ongoing generosity. The day would not be the success that it is without our menfolk to support, allowing for us Ladies to relax and enjoy! Thank you to all the volunteers.

We look forward to next year's Classic and (hopefully) welcoming back all our friends, both old and new! 🥳🥂🦉
