Wishing two of Canterbury’s finest, Emma Sands and Victoria Gonsalves, the very best for their English cricket seasons 🇦🇺🏏🇬🇧

Emma has headed to historic York Cricket Club in the Yorkshire Premier League. A club dating all the way back to 1784 and one of the oldest cricket clubs in England, with a proud history of top-level Yorkshire cricket.

Victoria is representing Wimbledon Cricket Club in the Surrey Cricket Championship. An iconic club established in 1854, known as one of Surrey’s most successful and respected cricket clubs.

Everyone back at Canterbury is proud of you both. Go well overseas, enjoy every moment, and make plenty of runs and wickets along the way! 💙🫐

A huge congratulations to Rachael Harris on an incredible season in our Women’s 1st XI, highlighted by a standout haul of honours at the RDCA Competition Presentation night 👏

These achievements add to an already remarkable year, alongside her Women’s 1st XI Batting Award, Club Champion, and Women’s Canterbury Medal at our club presentation night 🙌

Huge congratulations to Isla Clayton on taking out the Batting Award for the EGWC Stage 3 Girls Anna Lanning Shield 👏

A dominant season with 272 runs at an incredible average of 136.00 across 14 innings. A seriously impressive effort at the crease 💪

This is yet another accolade in a growing list for Isla this season, adding to her Junior Canterbury Medal, her selection in the Eastern Cricket Association U17 Representative Team, and her place in Prahran Cricket Club’s U18 Premier Cricket side.

Huge congratulations to Lachlan Streat on being named in the ECA Wright Shield Team of the Year for 2025/26. Selected as an opener after a strong season, Lachie piled on 397 runs at an average of 36.1.
