A familiar face returns to the Berries. 💙

We're excited to announce that Jack Carey has signed and committed to Canterbury for the 2026/27 season!
Returning to the club after a couple of years away, JC brings plenty of experience as a genuine all-rounder. Known for hitting some serious bombs down the order and more than handy with his seam bowling. Jack has also previously been an integral part of our Men's 1st XI so he's brings alot of experience to the group.

We're thrilled to have Jack back for another season and can't wait to see him back out on the park.

Blaster registrations are now live! Our Blasters program provides children with an introduction to cricket through a nine week program, running on Friday afternoons.
Registrations are only $95 (for nine weeks) starting on Friday November 13.

🏏 SEASON 2026/27 COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT 🏏

There are plenty of familiar faces returning to continue the great work already underway, alongside a number of new members bringing fresh ideas, energy and experience to the club.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has put their hand up to help drive the club forward this season.

And a special welcome to all of our new appointments. Welcome to the Hotel California ;)

We’re still on the lookout for people to take on the roles of Bar Manager and Grounds Manager for Season 2026/27.

We are pleased to announce the annual President’s Business Luncheon for 2026/27!
The event will be hosted at Canterbury Sports Ground on September the 24th starting at 12:00pm.

Retired Detective Andrew Stamper hosts an all-star panel featuring current AFL player (former CCC player) Sam Grlj, current AFL umpire (former CCC First XI player) Andrew Heffernan and past AFL Hall of Famers John Platten and Francis Bourke.

Tickets are $50 a head (table bookings of 8 people for $400 include a bottle of Chapoutier w**e). Tickets include roast spit gyros for lunch - vegan options available.

A HISTORIC APPOINTMENT

We’re thrilled to announce Melissa Hay as the first ever female Vice-President of Canterbury Cricket Club!

Melissa joined the Committee in the 2024/25 season as our Junior Boys Coordinator, where she made an incredible impact and played a huge role in supporting the growth and development of our junior program.
Alongside her committee work, Melissa has also captained our Women’s 2nd XI since 2024/25, bringing strong leadership, commitment and plenty of experience to the role.

Her contribution to the club over the past two seasons has been outstanding, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her take the next step into the Vice-President role.

A well-deserved appointment and an important moment in the history of our club.

Congratulations, Melissa! We’re thrilled to have you onboard.
