Canterbury Cobras Junior Football Club Official page for 'The Cobras'. We are a community based inclusive AFL club, in Canterbury, Victoria.

We have over 400 junior members, we have boys, girls & mixed teams from U/8. We also offer an Auskick program and pathway to our senior club.

Calling all Cobras! The Annual General Meeting of the CJFC will be held on Wednesday November 26, starting 7 pm at the clubrooms at Canterbury Oval.

Everyone is welcome! Please join us for drinks, meet your committee and learn more about our great club.

We rely on volunteers to keep our junior Cobras playing. If you would like to take on a role, please come to the AGM or contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].

More talent loading at Canterbury Junior Football Club.

U14s Cobras Otto Capello and Hunter Furlan have been invited to try out for the Oakleigh Chargers U16 squad.

This is a huge honor for two young players & will play their first trial match this week.

A certain Matt Rowell took this very path from Cobras to Chargers, then onto the AFL and Brownlow glory.

Talent and hard work have been recognised at all levels at the Cobras.

Congratulations to Cobras player Ben Chippindall, who polled second in the Yarra Junior Football League Best and Fairest for U11s. A great honour Ben, but surely not your last.

We are also very proud of our U14s coach Dan Steinfort, who was awarded Yarra Junior Football League’s Youth Coach of the Year.

Coaches volunteer hours of work into their teams all year round. The Cobras recognized Dan’s outstanding long service to the club honoring him with Life Membership at our recent end of season presentations.

It’s Cobras Day this Sunday 24 August.🐍

Good luck to our U14 & U16 boys teams playing in their Preliminary Finals. They'd love some spectator support - go see our U14s at Warringal Park at 11.30 am, then the U16s at Springfield Park at 2 pm.

Back at Canterbury Oval the afternoon will celebrate all our players from 3 pm. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Snake pit for a BBQ and drinks.

Glorious mud last Sunday after a great win by our Under 11 Girls, their first graded win this season.👏👏 Congratulations also go to U11 players Ollie and Finn who celebrated 50 games on the weekend.
