What an amazing turnout to our first “come & try / training day“
With 24 young referees attending from ALL three clubs within our association, it was great to see the friendship and confidence appearing towards the end of the day

Huge thanks to W***y Barnes for his expertise, Cowra for the use of there facilities and equipment it is greatly appreciated, to the parents who assisted with the various activities and cooking the BBQ and most of the kids / referees who turned up with the best attitude and enthusiasm

Looking forward to this becoming a regular part of our season

Congratulations to Matilda, Nate & Millie who were selected to referee the Grand Final of the Western Women’s League Tag Carnival
Outstanding Performance in every game especially with the heat and humidity increasing throughout the day

On Friday night members of our executive committee ( Dave, Clem & James ) and our local peak hill referee John donated their time and match payments to referee a memorial game at Peak Hill

Unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans and ended the game 10 minutes into the second half

Congratulations to both Peak Hill & Dubbo Macquarie clubs for organising such a moving and heart felt tribute in such a short time
