A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Whitsunday Raiders End of Season Presentation Night at Club Whitsunday. What an incredible way to wrap up a fantastic season of rugby! Your support, energy and passion for our club is what makes the Raiders community so special.
👏 Congratulations to all of our award winners – every recognition was truly deserved.
A special mention to our two major award recipients:
🏆 Club Person of the Year – Belinda Kennedy
Belinda has been the heart and engine room behind our U16s. As Team Manager, she helped Coach Bruce McQuillan take a group who at one point looked unlikely to field a full team and turned them into a tight-knit, resilient and committed unit by season’s end. Her leadership, positivity and dedication have made an enormous impact. Thank you, Belinda! 💚💛
🏆 Team of the Year – U10s
Coached by Jason Leis & Ash Leeder and managed by Kara Trouland, this remarkable group went through the entire season undefeated, finishing with a staggering for-and-against of 856–62!
These young athletes have dominated all year across both rugby league and rugby union – all while smiling, supporting each other, and playing with true Raiders spirit. An exceptional team effort from start to finish. 🙌
