We get asked heaps how did we come up with the name Arktos. Well here’s the answer. :)

It has 2 meanings that related to us.

1 - it’s Greek for bear from the arctic, hence the polar bear. The polar bear is the most fiercest animal, lives in the coldest conditions and takes no prisoners. It represents our cold insulation, toughness, and durability of our coolers.

2 - It also means from northern lands. Since we are based in the northern part of Australia, this was what sold us on the idea.

So living in the tropics, with a solid built, ice retention, tough as nails cooler, why wouldn’t we call it ARKTOS.

COMING SOON!

Our new edition - Beer Steins - will be landing soon. Holds 2 beers nicely and the last drop is just as cold as the first sip.

Keep an eye out for when these arrive, we already have a bunch of pre orders from our locals so we reckon we’ll run out quick. Our prototypes have been claimed by the boss and are his new favorite item.
