During the winter season, teams train Thursday nights at Cannon Hill and compete on Saturdays in the MDNA Competition in Coorparoo.

Getting to know our stars family ⭐️

Question time with Kate - Committee Member / Umpire / Player and Coach (all round Wonder Woman)

How long have you been with the club ?

I’ve been with stars for 9 years (I think).

Why did I get involved ?

I got involved while I was in uni with a friend because we loved netball and wanted to coach together. There was no stars opens at the time so we didn’t play when we joined.

My favorite netball memory ?

is the season I got to play with my sister, Aila, and the on / off court banter.

My coffee order is a strong cappuccino with preferably real chocolate on top (Sister cafe in Hawthorne, or John Mills in the city are my 2 faves).

Nikiah’s development continues to elevate each week and she is becoming a key part of our forward movements. We might need to coin the term ‘Defend like Fazz’ because she is incredible to watch in defence! 🩵

CH stars 5 gold played a nail biting game neck and neck for the first 3 quarters but came out stronger then ever for the fourth giving us the win with player of the match Frankie with her amazing defence and taking home the mvp Kyrah with her work in the circle getting some really good shots in over all an amazing team work on the court go stars !!!!
