How proud are we of our Pines community chipping in at our working bee to prepare the gardens for Floriade? Thanks to Taimus Werner-Gibbings for pitching in. We cannot wait until September.

A little reminder for today.

A little reminder for today.

🎾 A real tennis partner is easy to recognize after a victory.
They smile with you, celebrate the winning point, and enjoy the applause beside you. 🏆✨

But the true test of a doubles partnership begins when everything starts going wrong.

When the serves stop landing…
When the rallies slip away…
When frustration quietly takes over your mind…
When you miss the easiest volley of the match and feel like you just let your teammate down. 💔

That’s the moment that reveals who your real partner truly is.

Tennis is more than rackets, courts, and scoreboards. 🎾
It’s an emotional game. A mental battle. A sport that exposes confidence, pressure, fear, and resilience all at once. And in doubles, every emotion is shared with someone standing beside you. 🤝

The best partners don’t roll their eyes after mistakes.
They don’t blame you for missed shots.
They don’t make you feel smaller after a bad game.

Instead, they walk closer to you. ❤️
They remind you to breathe. 🌿
They tell you the next point matters more than the last one.
They become your calm in the middle of the storm. ⛈️➡️☀️

Every tennis lover knows this feeling.

The silence after losing an important point…
The frustration of missing a simple forehand…
The pressure of seeing your confidence disappear one mistake at a time. 😔

And yet… sometimes one supportive sentence from your doubles partner changes everything.

“You’ve got this.” 💪
“Shake it off.”
“Next point.”
“I still trust you.” ❤️

Those small words carry more power than people realize.

Because great doubles teams are not built only on skill.
They are built on trust. 🤝
On patience. 🌱
On emotional strength. 🧠
On choosing encouragement when frustration would be easier.

The most unforgettable partnerships in tennis are not always the ones with the most trophies. 🏆
They are the ones where both players protected each other’s confidence during the hardest moments.

That’s what makes tennis beautiful. 🎾✨

Behind every comeback victory is usually a partner who refused to let negativity win.
A partner who kept believing.
A partner who stayed supportive when the match became difficult. ❤️

And honestly, this lesson goes far beyond sports.

Life gives all of us moments where we feel defeated.
Moments where we feel like we are not good enough.
Moments where confidence disappears. 💭

The people who stand beside us during those moments are the ones we never forget.

So if you have a tennis partner who lifts your spirit instead of breaking it… appreciate them. 🙌
Because supportive teammates are rare.
And genuine connection on the court is even rarer.

At the end of the day, tennis is not only about winning matches.
It’s about finding people who help you become stronger mentally, emotionally, and personally. 🌟

A real doubles partner doesn’t just help you play better tennis…

They remind you that even after your worst point…
you are still worth believing in. ❤️🎾
