Almost time to head for South Australia for the season finale

Three months after the crash that all but destroyed the LUCI CIVIL Camaro, we rolled back into competition for the East Coast Nationals at Sydney Dragway last weekend.

What was originally a two-day program was condensed to one due to the weather, and we completed two runs across the day. A trans brake issue saw us roll the beams (6.081/244.74mph) in round one, but in round two, we were back to form with a 5.72 second pass at 253mph that left us all smiling 😁

To get the result we got in that second race after all we have been through saw us exactly where we wanted to be and puts us back to where we were ahead of the Winters crash.

We cannot wait now to get to Adelaide for the season finale at the Spring Nationals, after which we will regroup and get ready for a big push next season.

Of course, none of this happens without the people behind the scenes, and we can’t thank all those who were involved enough for getting us back on the track.

Let’s go! Round two sees us turn on the win light with a 5.720 second pass at 253.18mph – we are very happy with that!

Round one is done and as far as a first round of racing goes after a massive rebuild, it was solid – 6.081 seconds at 244.74mph – even if we did roll through the beams.

We will be back on-track and ready to have a big swing for round two, scheduled for 4.20pm, and then the final at around 7.24pm.

Here comes a massive day of racing at Sydney Dragway!

What was two days is now one as the NDRC - National Drag Racing Championship looks to avoid tomorrow’s poor weather forecast, so that will see us heading straight into three rounds of all-run racing – no pressure 🤣
