🌿 Thank a Superintendent Day at Royal Canberra ⛳

A golf course doesn’t just look after itself!

Today we recognise Superintendent Ryan Stores, Assistant Superintendent Dennis Grounds and the entire Course & Grounds Team for the work that happens well before most of us arrive at the Club.

Early starts, long days, changing weather — and an enormous amount of care and attention that often goes unnoticed.

Maintaining 27 holes is a big job, and the team’s work plays a huge part in the experience members and visitors enjoy at Royal Canberra.

Ryan, Dennis and the team — thank you for the commitment, pride and hard work you put into the course every day. It certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. 👏

Huge congratulations to our Men’s Senior Scratch and Handicap teams on an outstanding performance at the DGA Finals on Thursday.

To come away with wins in both divisions during our Centenary year makes this achievement even more special. It’s a fitting reflection of the depth, commitment, and competitive spirit within our senior ranks, and a wonderful contribution to what has already been a memorable year for the Club.

Representing Royal Canberra with pride, professionalism, and camaraderie, the teams delivered when it mattered most.

A brilliant result and well done to all players involved!

What an incredible three days celebrating Royal Canberra’s Members Centenary of Golf.

Across the last few days our Members embraced the spirit of the occasion, with fantastic fields, great golf, and a wonderful atmosphere around the Club as we marked this historic milestone together.

A huge congratulations to our Centenary Champions, who produced outstanding rounds to claim their titles across each event.

Thank you to all Members who took part and helped make these events such a memorable celebration of 100 years of Royal Canberra Golf Club.
