What a lovely run by Rockabye Roxy (Shaun Guymer) in the 1205m Maiden Handicap at the Sapphire Coast.

First-up from a spell, the 3YO Written By filly found the line strongly for connections.

A few more photos from Thursday's meeting at Wagga's Murrumbidgee Turf Club 📸

It was pleasing to see Vinolass return to form with an eye-catching second placing in the 1000m Benchmark 66 Handicap, while Missile Leader also produced a strong performance to finish runner-up in a competitive 1400m Benchmark 82 Handicap.

Roy Kelton charged home for fourth in the 1600m Maiden Plate, with Prophet's Promise not far behind after another encouraging effort.

The results may not have reflected it on paper, but there was plenty to like from the day, and all signs point towards an exciting period ahead for the stable.

Lot 924 is a State of Rest filly out of Quachita (x All Too Hard), wonderfully produced by Redbank North.

She is a lovely relaxed walking filly. Her dam Quachita has had 2 foals, her second foal is a 2YO.
One foal to race (Tremonti) was winner at 2 at only start at 1000m and has won $106,725.

The dam line has a prolific winning record.
