Oooh, what a feeling… Toyota! 🏁

Reunited again today with a very special car I had the pleasure of driving back in the mid-1980s — piloting it for some six years.

This car has some serious history inc Bathurst, Sandown. Amaroo park, Oran Park , and I’m one very lucky man to have been a part of it.

Still an amazing car, just like it was back then! 🙌

And great to catch up with Mayan Reddy Fastrack Experiences as well. 🍻🏁

🏁 POST RX8 CUP ROUND 4 — THE AUTOPSY BEGINS!
The Odin Motorsport RX-8 is now at Dr McLaine’s… and basically, we have a body shell with a few memories attached! ☺️

What did we find?

Well… bloody lucky to get the car home from Races 2, 3 & 4!

The diff had officially left the group chat.
Diff drained… and apparently decided to take half its internals with it! 🤦‍♂️

Good job by Ross to pedal the thing across the finish line in every race, while the diff was trying to take the car in a completely different direction! 😂

At Odin Motorsport, we believe in sparking an interest in motorsport from a young age.

6-year-old Levi ( grandson Robert Hawkins- RX8 Cup photographer) recently got his Odin RX8 colouring set — and as simple as it seems, it can be the spark that starts a lifelong passion.

Motorsport teaches discipline, teamwork, professionalism, cars and the very beginnings of racing. Most of all, it’s a sport that embraces grassroots and up-and-coming talent.

The future starts young. 🏎️💨

A great step forward — now let’s keep the momentum rolling and finish the Championship strongly! 💪🏁
