Otherwise, please get in contact with your local member of parliament and let them know how youre feeling about proposed changes. This should go to both your upper and lower house representative both federal and state or territory. Make sure to be contacting your members of opposition as well. Right now, we arnt club shooters, hunters, dealers, or collectors. We arnt members of CTS or SSPC or ADA, we are all licence holders. We all want to know why money is better spent on a buyback rather than putting the same amount of money in to ASIO and AFP. We want to know why the government thinks it’s ok to tar an entire section of Australian society because of the actions of 1. We want to know how the changes they are proposing would have stopped what happened.
Check your emails for official correspondence. Join every shooting body you can. Talk to politicians, your family, your union rep, your workmates, and your neighbours.
Encourage people to do a safety course and get a licence.
