Our FreeG program is all about having fun, building confidence and giving kids the freedom to explore gymnastics in a safe and supportive environment.

📚✨ Book Theme Fortnight at WVGC! ✨📚

Over the past fortnight, we’ve all had so much fun celebrating our book theme — including getting to dress up as some of our favourite characters! 📖🤸

From Winnie the Pooh and Peter Rabbit to The Cat in the Hat and many more, the gym has been filled with characters, colour and plenty of imagination.

Our coaches got right into the spirit too! Some of our coaches who worked across multiple days even found a different character to dress up as each day. 🌟

We’ve loved seeing everyone embrace the theme and bring some of their favourite stories to life in the gym!

Looking for something fun and active to keep the kids busy these school holidays? Come spend them at WVGC! 💙💚

Our School Holiday Program runs from 28 September – 4 October, with gymnastics, games, activities and plenty of time to move, play and have fun with friends!

🌞 AM Session – $40
8:00 am – 11:30 am
Formal activities run 9:00 am – 11:00 am

🌈 PM Session – $75
11:30 am – 5:00 pm

⭐ Extended Care – $15
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

🐝 KinderGym Holiday Sessions – $30
Mondays & Fridays | 9:30 am – 10:30 am

It was fantastic to see our gymnasts putting their hard work into action, performing their routines with confidence and gaining valuable competition experience. Today is a reminder that a simple question can make a real difference.

At WVGC, we’re more than just a gymnastics club — we’re a community. We encourage everyone to look out for their teammates, friends, coaches and families, and to take the time to genuinely ask, “Are you OK?” ♥️🤍💙

You don’t need to be an expert to check in. Sometimes simply listening and being there for someone is enough to help them feel supported.

🤸‍♀️ Practice makes progress!

Our Level 1–3 ACRO gymnasts had a blast at their Practice Competition last weekend, performing in front of family and friends! 💙

For some of our junior acrobats, this year will be their very first time competing in gymnastics and ACRO. Our Practice Competition gives them the chance to experience a competition-style environment, build confidence and practise performing their routines before the real thing.

We loved seeing them out on the floor and can’t wait to cheer on all our junior acrobats as they compete over the next couple of months!

💙 2026 Eye & Tissue Donation Spotlight | 7–11 September

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on the life-changing impact of eye and tissue donation — including the story of our own WVGC athlete Francesca.

After rupturing her ACL in July 2025, Francesca’s reconstruction used donated tendon tissue, helping her on the road back to gymnastics and the active life she loves. 🤸

“I would simply say thank you. Your decision to donate has given me the opportunity to recover and keep doing the things I love.”

In 2025, eye and tissue donation helped 2,757 corneal recipients and 11,843 tissue recipients across Australia.

We’re proud of Francesca for sharing her story and helping raise awareness of the incredible impact tissue donation can have. 💙
