Jumptown Swing Jumptown Swing is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation in Canberra

Jumptown Swing teach beginner classes and above in lindy hop, balboa and other authentic swing-era dances, all done to the swingin’ jazz music of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Our weekly classes are held in Turner, and at the end of each 4 week beginner course you’ll have the confidence and a pocket full of basic moves to have you up having a blast and keeping time on the dance floor. Jumptown Swing can

also provide entertainment and specialty classes for your event with our experienced performance troupe the Jumptown Jammers.
