Birthday shout outs and, items of interest.

No Birthday's once again this week therefore, no shout outs.

On the "items of interest" front, congratulations go to Helen Angel and Tony Dorrell for becoming the 2026 Ladies and Men's Club Champions. Well played and, well deserved to both of you.

Don't forget that this coming Saturday (June 27) is monthly medal day. Get yourself ready to fight to win a monthly medal and, good luck to you all.

A reminder that the following Saturday (July 4) the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the completion of the teams event.

Birthday shout outs and, items of interest.

No Birthdays to celebrate once again therefore, no shout outs.

Just a couple of things on the "items of interest" front.

1. Don't forget that this coming weekend (June 20 & 21) is the final rounds of the Club Championships. This means that there will be no competition round/s for those members not participating in the championships.

2. The AGM will take place after the completion of the teams event on July 4. Come along to hear what the club committee has done over the past twelve months and, what it hopes to do in the coming year.

Club Championships.

Please see attached the results of the first weekend of the Club Championships. The final round/s will be played next weekend to decide the Ladies and Men's Club Champions for 2026. Also to be decided will be the Veterans event (36 hole competition).

The Tuesday, Wednesday ladies and, Thursday comps were either rained out or, not enough starters to hold a comp. Therefore, there is only on day to report on.

Birthday shout outs and, items of interest.

Another week without any Birthday's to celebrate therefore, no shout outs.

Three (3) things to bring up on the "items of interest" front.

1. Don't forget that the Club Championships are on over the next two weekends (June 13 & 14 and June 20 & 21). This means that unless you are playing in the championships, there will be no normal competitions over these two weekends. I believe entries close for the championships this Thursday (June 11) after the usual comp round.

2. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Saturday July 4 after the next teams event. Be there to catch up on all the news from the committee.

3. Finally, it is also nearly time to renew your club membership which is dues on July 1. This will need to include membership the the complex owners so you can cash in on the reduced green fees etc. which is part of the membership with them.

Birthday shout outs and, items of interest.

Another week without any birthday's therefore, no shout outs.

A couple of things for you on the "items of interest" front.

First off, don't forget to put you nominations in for the club championships which is fast appraoching. A slight change this year, with the championships being played over two weekends. That being June 13 & 14 and June 20 & 21. The 72 hole club championshiups will be 18 holes on each of the four dates mentioned. A "Veterans" event will also be played and will be decided by playing 18 holes on each of the Saturday's mentioned.

The other thing to be aware of the Annual General Metting (AGM) will take place after the July teams event (July 4). Please come along and hear what the club has done over the past 12 months and what they plan to do in the coming 12 months. You may well be able to bring up anything you might like to see happen so the committee can discuss it and, take any actions they deem appropriate.
