Howdy guys,

As we lead into the New Year, our awesome sponsors Origin Physiotherapy & Wellness have created a stretching routine for the Juniors.

Stretching is an incredibly important part of injury prevention, and should be done as a warm-up to activate and potentiate the body before exercise.

Howdy guys,

Another great end of the year and Juniors Club Championships behind us.

Thank you too all the Juniors for the enthusiasm and effort that they brought through the year. It's just an absolute blast to watch all these wonderful kids develop and grow!

As always, none of this could be done without our dedicated coaching volunteers. I can not express how much their time means to me, and the club.
Massive thank you to all our volunteers, but especially our dedicated core of Gary, Mark, Salman, and our Lucy "Killer Queen" (KQ).

We wouldn't be able to do what we do, however, without the support of the clubs sponsors, Origin Physiotherapy & Wellness and the best facilities in ACT at Next Gen Canberra.

Origin Physiotherapy & Wellness have supported the club the many years, and simply put are the best physio's in Canberra. I want to emphatically state how much Natalie D'Rozario's friendship and support means - particularly making the presentation. Thank you both to them and Next Gen for allowing the club prosper.

Onto the club championships – with a fantastic effort and squash by all the Juniors who entered, with super close games in all brackets – and a number of first time winners!

Hello guys,

Before we close out the year, there’s still a few messages from me to come. 😉

First one is for those interested in the Holiday period squash!
ACT Squash is looking at some caps – which are super affordable!

Summer Holiday Camp
Squash ACT is aiming to hold a Summer Holiday camp from 22-24 January. Each day will run from 10am-3pm. There will be 2 sessions each day with a break in the middle for lunch. Cost for the 3 days is $90

Squash ACT will also be looking to hold extra training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4-5:30pm for any juniors who are interested:
• Tuesday 9th January
• Thursday 11th January
• Tuesday 16th January
• Thursday 18th January
Cost per session will be $15

If you are interested and available in attending any of the above sessions, please complete the below form.
Please note, this form isn't to sign you up for the training sessions, simply to gauge interest and availability to ensure there are enough attendees during the holiday period to host these sessions. Please complete the Expression of Interest Form by 5pm on Friday 8th of December.

As expected, the North Canberra Juniors function is now on at 1pm.

That is, Woden Squash Courts, for a 1pm start on matches. :)

After the matches concluded:
* Our sponsor, Origin Physiotherapy and Wellness, will present prize packs to the winners of each grade
* I’ll present the Club awards
* and everyone gets PIZZAAAAA!

Look forward to seeing everyone there! :)
We are on courts 6, 7, and 8.

Howdy guys.

The North Canberra Squash Juniors end of year function is booked and sorted!

When: Sunday 3rd December
Time: 2:00pm
Where Woden Squash Centre

That’s right guys, the end of year function will be held at Woden Squash Centre – located at 4 Launceston St, Phillip – starting at 2pm.

The loose schedule of the end of year function is:
2:00pm – Club Championships
3:30pm – Pizza!!!!!!
4:00pm – Awards and presentations

For the Club Championships, we have the tentative brackets as below – but please remember, these are just a fun, enjoyable hit. No pressure. No stress – just fun. :)
