The AGM is on in two weeks! Come along to be involved. The updated modernized constitution is on the agenda in the Special General Meeting.
Remember to RSVP for lunch if you are attending.

SSAA ACT Inc. 2025 General Meetings are being held on Sunday, 30 November 2025. It is going to be a busy day, but one that should provide great outcomes for the Association.

Kicking off with a Special General Meeting at 10am, members will be asked to consider the proposed constitution and a new Entity Policy.

We are also hosting a Pizza lunch (at 12:00noon) between the Special General Meeting and the Annual General Meeting, commencing from 1:30pm.

RSVP's are needed for the lunch. This will ensure that we have catering correct.

Sporting Shooters Association of Australia ACT Inc. is hosting events for the 2025 Master Games, this includes events across three different categories:
Centerfire Rifle (Precision Rifle)
Pistol (Combined Services)
Shotgun

Entries are still open, so if you are interested check it out and come along!

Compete under the SSAA Precision Rifle Discipline Rulebook in an event that spans two exhilarating days and features 16 uniquely challenging states. Each stage presents steel targets of various sizes and shapes positioned at distances from 200 to 500 metres.

Reminder that tomorrow is the 2024 SSAA ACT AGM on the JMK (main) range.

Lunch from 12:30 PM
Meeting from 1:30 PM
The AGM will be followed by a General Meeting.

The AGM and GM are a great way to see how the association is being run and to have your say in voting in new executive and voting on other matters. Fees for the range complex are set at the AGM along with the ratification of other clubs and disciplines.

We hope SSAA ACT will see you there.

A big thanks to The Panorama Peacemakers. and everyone else involved for running the 2024 NSW Single Action State Titles.

While we lost a few stages to the weather, it was still a great match enjoyed by everyone. With 10 stages of cowboy, 4 stages of Wild Bunch, speed events, derringer side matches and cowboy clays it was an awesome weekend with 66 shooters in the main match.

With a few Rangers in attendance we managed to get some podium finishes.

Best of luck to our members and friends over at EOT!! The first day of Wild Bunch is over and lots of fun has already been had, looking forward to hearing about and seeing all the excitement of the rest of the shoot.

Today we had the pleasure of running a Single Action shooting demonstration and introduction for the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia ACT Inc. Junior Development Section.

Everyone had a blast trying some of the fi****ms we use in Single Action and seeing what Cowboy shooting is like. Our instructors, Lightning and Nacho, put on a show for the crowd to show what’s possible with practice and training.

It was great to help the new generation of shooters on their journey, and we look forward to seeing them around the range 🤠
