What a fantastic Tournament Royal Bengal Trophy.

A huge thank you to the organiser (Ahanf Kacchi Boys ) and everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event. It truly felt like a festival for the Bangladeshi cricket community in Canberra.

Proud of our team's effort as we finished Runners-up. Along the way we beat Wolves, Kacchi Boys and ABSC in the group stage, won the semifinal against Rising Stars, and although we fell short in the final, it was a tournament to remember.

A wonderful season end gathering with the Bangla Warriors Canberra family.

It was great catching up with everyone and, for a change, spending more time talking about soccer than cricket.

A farewell to Rivu Shahzad, who is moving to Perth to take the next step in his career. Saying goodbye is never easy, but we're happy to know he's promised to return before 2030. Wishing you all the very best, Rivu, for your future endeavors. The team will certainly miss you a lot.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for dinner and made the evening so enjoyable. Here's another fantastic season together.

Congratulations to Iftekhar Qureshi on being named the Best Batsman of Shadhinota Cup Canberra 2026.

The elegant left-handed batsman finished the tournament with an outstanding 381 runs at an average of 54, a strike rate of 146, and a highest score of 91.

A key player for Bangla Warriors Canberra, Iftekhar led the team's batting and bowling throughout the tournament and also finished 2nd in the MVP standings. His biggest strength, however, is his modesty. Dedicated, hardworking, and team-oriented, he always puts the success of the team ahead of personal milestones.

Beyond his own performances, Iftekhar's cricket knowledge and willingness to support his teammates have played an important role in the development of Bangla Warriors Canberra.

Congratulations once again, Iftekhar Qureshi, on your outstanding tournament.

A special thank you to Sports Legacy for recognising his achievement with a high quality cricket bat. Your support continues to encourage and inspire community cricket.

This year's 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 journey has once again ended at the semifinal stage, and what a way it ended, with another last-over thriller.

A huge thank you to all the Warriors who were part of this season. Your commitment, effort, and contributions helped us reach the semifinals, and we fought until the very last ball. Because of that, we can hold our heads high and be proud of what we have achieved.

There are still individual highlights to celebrate. As of the semifinal stage, Iftekhar Qureshi is leading both the MVP and Best Batsman leaderboards, a fantastic achievement.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to all our overseas players who represented us throughout the tournament. It has been an absolute pleasure playing alongside each of you.

Now it's time to take a well-deserved break for a few weeks before we regroup and prepare for the next tournament.

Thank you, Warriors. The journey continues.

Bangla Warriors Canberra have qualified for the Knockout Stage of the 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

We now look ahead to the semifinal, where we will take on BD Stars Canberra on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at Lyneham Oval 210.
