🏀 2026 ROADRUNNERS JUNIOR PRESENTATION NIGHT 🏀

After another great season of basketball we will be hosting the annual Junior Roadrunners Presentation Night on:

Would all Athletes, Coaches and Team Managers please wear their Roadrunners warm up tops or hoodies. Playing shorts are not required.

We would love to see as many families as possible attend our Presentation! 🏆🏀

Please note light refreshments will be available for the athletes.

The Tigers Club has requested that parents wishing to have dinner there are requested to book ahead (6297 8888).

Congrats to our SPL2 Men on their win in last night's Qualifying Final. They now head straight to the Grand Final in a couple of weeks (Saturday 19 September). Well done team!

Congratulations to former Roadrunner Jaz on her selection as a Development Player for the University of Canberra Capitals this season! An amazing accomplishment!

Canberra's Caps 🥹🧢

We are thrilled to welcome local Basketball ACT talents Jasmyn Boutzos and Zara Funnell as Development Players for the upcoming season.

Both athletes were key contributors to the Canberra Nationals NBL1 campaign under Caps Assistant Coach Nat Hurst and impressed at our DP Trial session. We can't wait to watch them run out at AIS Arena for their hometown team!

The Leeanne Palmer Country Development Program (CDP) Camps for the remainder of 2026 are now open for registrations.

Designed for regional athletes, the camp provides an opportunity to sharpen skills, strengthen fundamentals, and build confidence ahead of the upcoming representative season.

Open to boys and girls in the U14, U16 and U18 age groups (born 2009–2014), the camp will feature high-quality, structured sessions delivered by experienced coaches in a supportive and challenging environment.

🏀 U14 Girls BNSW Junior State Cup 🏀

Our U14 Girls team recently travelled to Orange for the BNSW Junior State Cup. Here's their report (thanks to Coach Tegan):

The U14 Girls had a fantastic weekend in Orange at State Cup, showing plenty of determination, teamwork and growth throughout the tournament.

The girls came out strong in the pool rounds, securing wins against Parramatta-Cumberland, Hawkesbury Jets and Dubbo Rams and earning them a place in the Grand Final, where they faced the Sutherland Sharks. Although the girls ultimately fell short, they played hard right until the final whistle and should be extremely proud of their effort and what they have achieved this year.
