FAQs
✨Do I need to be cleared to exercise again before commencing the classes?
Yes, preferably by a women’s health physio
✨Can I do the programme if I have been diagnosed with POP or DR?
Unfortunately, these classes might be too soon for you. I recommend you follow the directions of your women’s health physio and build the foundations to return to exercise. (They will recommend when you are ready to return to exercise and will make you aware of what your new normal is when exercising).
✨Are the bubs involved in the workout?
No they are not. They are with you the entire time so you can attend to their needs. The hour class is just about you.
✨Is there a creche?
There is a creche available at 9.30am for an hr during the CrossFit class. However at 10.40am there is no creche. Your bub is to stay with you and is your responsibility throughout the workout
✨Where does bub go?
If bub is mobile, he/she is to be in the pram (for safety reasons). If bub is not yet crawling or child is able to self entertain, he/she can play on the floor (couch also available for older kids).
✨Can I breastfeed/bottle feed my child?
Yes! Anywhere you feel comfortable is totally fine
✨Can I bring multiple children?
Yes you can. However, all of your children are your responsibility
✨Do I need any experience?
No. All you need is a can do attitude. All exercises can be modified to suit your abilities
✨ Is it a CrossFit workout?
No. Although held at a CrossFit gym, the classes are full body strength and HIIT style workouts. However, the 10 week program is a great stepping stone for those who wish to get back into CrossFit or those wanting to start their CrossFit journey.
✨Is parking free?
Yes, outside of CrossFit SFS all parking is free
