Kourtney has loved playing netball, with her favourite positions being Centre and Wing Attack, where she loves using her speed to fly around the court. She loves playing with her friends, having fun and being part of a team. She’s also been lucky to have some amazing coaches over the years who have been fantastic role models and helped her grow both on and off the court. Congratulations on your 50th game, Kourts ❤💙💛

Congratulations Rachel on reaching 50 games! 🏐

Rachel started her netball journey playing for St Francis of Assisi in Year 2 before making the move to Valley over the past two years. She is a quiet achiever but a highly skilled player at both ends of the court, showing great skill, determination and consistency.

Rachel is a supportive teammate who is always encouraging her friends and lifting those around her on court. She rarely misses a training session and this is testament to her commitment to her teammates, coaches and club.

The Valley is delighted to announce that Sam Robinson has officially signed on as Head Men's Coach for 2027.
For the past three years Sam and Paul Highmore have shared the Head-Coaching role in the Men's Program, with significant progress being made over that period, culminating in our first appearance in a Preliminary Final in almost three decades. Paul has decided that the time is now right to hand the reigns to Sam and for him to more broadly support the Senior Men's Program.

The Valley is thrilled to announce the appointment of Luke Jess as Head Women's Coach for 2027.
Luke has been a huge part of our club for decades. Amongst other roles Luke has been an Assistant Coach of the Senior Women's Program and most recently coach of the U14 Girls. Luke will bring a new perspective to the women's program continuing to shape our players in the years ahead following on from Will Prowse stepping down at the end of this season. Amelie started her time with the mighty Valley on the AFL fields before deciding to give netty a go in Year 5. She’s been lucky enough to have some great teammates and coaches along the way, eventually cementing her decision to swap the oval shaped ball for the netball.

She can run forever, so it’s no surprise that C is her go to position, and she loves catching out the defenders with a cheeky feed into the circle.

She enjoys learning the game, playing with her mates and was stoked to get the chance to extend herself this year when filling in for the older girls.
