🚨 Here we Go 🚨

ISO sport is finally back, get excited !!!
The sporting calendar for this term consists of five sports-

1. Ultimate frisbee (Mixed) – Possibly the most captivating and engaging sport on the ISO sports calendar! Technical flare and intense rivalries galore, Disc is a true spectacle. Reigning victors Griffin hall are aiming to continue their dominance, although runners-up JOHNS XXiii along with all the other colleges are looking to challenge

2. Touch footy (men and women) – A staple in the ISO sports calendar, touch footy is a true lung burner! A hyper-competitive sport at its core. The fast-paced action and silky skills are surely not to be missed. Previous winners JOHNS XXiii college are aiming to continue their dominance within the sport with a 3-peat on the cards, with runners-up URSULA hall as always shooting for an upset.

3. Road relay. (Mixed) – A true cardiovascular endurance tester! Road relay is a huge intercollege relay race, involving 8 legs ranging from 1.5km to 3km in length. Griffin Hall's record breaking performance last year is set to be challenged, with all other colleges preparing for the big day.

4. Badminton. (Mens, Womens, Mixed) – A technical masterclass! The new addition to the term 1 ISO sports calendar involves, Men and Women single and double matches, along with a mixed double match. A sport for everyone to get around

5. Lawn Bowls (Mixed) - EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE...Lawn bowls This is a very social sport (tier 4), and does not have a massive impact on the sports shield rankings. But it is a super fun event that virtually everyone can get around! Contact your hall's sports reps for ways to get involved!

Good luck to all the colleges!
Enjoy yourselves 🤝

!!! WINNER OF THE SPORTS SHIELD !!!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Interhall Sport this year, it's been the first full calendar year of sport since 2019, so we are so happy that it has all gone ahead smoothly. Things are looking good for 2023!

A massive congratulations to John XXIII College for retaining the sports shield for the 2nd year in a row! 425 points, made it to most of the finals, and well clear of the rest of the field. 2nd place was awarded to Ursula Hall, who were also the biggest risers, moving from 7th place to 2nd across the year! And 3rd place was awarded to Bruce Hall, who were steady competitors and remained in the top 3 all year. It was really close between 2nd and 6th as well, with just 38 points separating these positions. Well done to all!
