Hockey ACT are excited to launch Walking Hockey!

Walking hockey is a modified version of traditional hockey. The slower pace and lower impact game makes this a more accessible and inclusive format of the game. The 5-a-side game is also modified with a softer ball, smaller field and simpler rules to increase engagement and enjoyment. It can be played on grass, concrete, turf, indoors or outdoors.

A FREE Come and Try Event will be held on Wednesday 21 September, 2022 at the National Hockey Centre for participants to come along and experience Walking Hockey, meet the facilitator and other participants, and get an introduction to the game.
