Annual General Meeting (AGM) – 2025/2026 Season

Attendees: 17 Members

The Annual General Meeting of the Woden Warriors Cricket Club commenced with a welcome address and introductions. Members were invited to share their experiences, feedback, and reflections from the 2025/2026 season. The discussion provided valuable insights into the team's achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement moving forward.

The club was pleased to officially welcome four new members into the Woden Warriors family. Members extended their support and encouragement as the new players prepare for the upcoming season.

Following the Captain's address, elections were conducted for the upcoming season. The following appointments were unanimously supported by members:

Sunday Social Team

- Captain: Jibin Mathew
- Vice-Captain: Cecil Abraham

Tennis Ball Tournament Team

- Captain: Divik Sukumaran
- Vice-Captain: Frango Jose

The club's financial accounts were presented and reviewed by the members. Discussions were also held regarding the procurement of new team jerseys and potential sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season. Members agreed to pursue new sponsorship arrangements and proceed with the development of updated team uniforms.

The meeting concluded with members expressing their appreciation for the contributions made throughout the season and their enthusiasm for the year ahead.

What a way to finish the year! Winning our final tennis ball tournament and closing the season with 2 out of 3 trophies is something to be truly proud of.

This team has shown consistency, character, and real unity. Every player stepped up when it mattered, and that’s what makes us strong — we win together.

🏏Another Great game of Cricket. Woden Warriors defeating Garud Force Cricket Club by 6 wickets to Register the Second win of the Season.

Highlights:

Batting first Garud Force had a solid start. After loosing a few opening wickets they fought back to take the scores to 162/7 in 20 overs.

In return Woden Warriors had a solid start with Jesvins 20(9) and Don 16 (23). Vivian played a furious knock of 70(41) 2x6's and 8x4's building a 3rd and 4th wicket partnership to see the team through
