“I Could Do Better” (aka Ollie) was gallant in his 4th at Casterton today with Ryan Hurdle aboard, beaten just 2.86 lengths. Held up behind the pack and forced to dodge and weave (nearly doing a u-turn at the 200mtr mark), but once clear, he flew home and hit the line hard. Fair to say that Ollie-boy wasn’t satisfied he’d finished off his race, as he continued on to do another lap, taking some time to pull up! Watch this space next up! 🐎 Well done to Jules- your boy did good 👍

Rex had another fair run on the Ballarat Synthetic yesterday, with a great ride from Declan. 💚💛

A few little habits still to iron out, so we may look to bring him back in trip while he learns to focus and finish-off his races better. Hopefully there’s a win not too far away!🙌🐎

The weather could’ve been a little ‘better’ at Casterton today, but Ollie-boy- I Could Do Better made it all ‘so much better’ by getting up in the last! 🏆🐎 A ripper ‘ride of the day’ also deservingly went Brad too, for his excellent hands-and-heels effort to get the old fella home.👏 A big congrats to Jules too- hopefully this one helps speed up the recovery! 💛

Simba (Vicain) also went around today and continues to learn with each run. We’re looking forward to seeing him over a bit more ground as the pieces start to come together. 🦁🐎

There’s something special about home-bred babies… even if they are on the slower side! 😉

The kids’ pony, Rex, aka Keepy Uppy (name inspired by Bluey), has shown some really encouraging improvement in his last two runs.

He seems to be more happier on the synthetic, and after two peach rides from Michael at Coleraine and Declan at Ballarat the other day, we’re hoping the ‘penny has dropped’ (not flukes) and that maybe the kids’ pony just might have a little race in him after all. He’s certainly learnt a lot from those runs.

Thank you to Jamie Bazz and the girls for looking after the boy at Ballarat for us!🤞💚💛🐎

How special it was to see the late OJ Bant’s (Pop’s) colours back out on the track yesterday. 💜💛💜

The big fella, Triple Agent, had his first run for the stable in the Warrnambool bog with Tom Madden aboard. While the conditions certainly tested everyone, there were plenty of valuable lessons to come from the run, with Tom providing a positive introduction and some invaluable feedback. We look forward to seeing it all sink in as we set our sights on his next challenge. Stay tuned! 🔜

A proud day for the team, and an even prouder one to see Pop’s colours carried with pride once again. 🐎💜💛

After eight runs this preparation and only being out of the placings a couple of times, our big girl High Altitude has more than earned a well-deserved freshen-up! Although a stubborn girl, we’re incredibly proud of how much she’s learnt and the confidence she’s gained throughout her first preparation with us. She’ll now enjoy some well-earned paddock time before heading back into work for another exciting prep. Stay tuned! 💙 Thank you to all owners and Tash & Stevo for the fun so far!🐎🙌

This beautiful girl raced at Donald yesterday and, unfortunately, she was not a fan of the bog at all. The heavy conditions just didn’t suit her, but she pulled up well and will live to fight another day. We’ll look for a drier track and see what the next start holds for this lovely mare. 🐎✨
