After 22 years with Aquafit, I have made the difficult decision that it is time for me to step away from my role as General Manager Aquafit & Hakea Wellness and begin a new chapter.
This decision has not been easy.
More than 22 years ago, Campbelltown Catholic Club had a vision to create a health and fitness facility that would positively impact people in our community. I was incredibly fortunate to help bring that vision to life and watch Aquafit grow into the thriving health and wellness community it is today. More recently, I also had the privilege of co-founding Hakea Wellness, continuing that commitment to helping people live healthier, happier lives.
While I am proud of what has been achieved over the past two decades, it is the people I will remember most.
To every member who has walked through our doors, attended a class, achieved a goal, supported our community initiatives, shared feedback, or simply made Aquafit part of their life, thank you.
It has been a privilege to be part of your journey, to celebrate your achievements, share in your challenges, and see the positive impact that health, fitness and wellness can have on people’s lives.
While I am stepping away from my role and will be finishing up on 9 July, Aquafit and Hakea Wellness will always hold a very special place in my heart.
I leave knowing both businesses are in the hands of a dedicated team who care deeply about our members, our community and the future.
Thank you for your loyalty, support and friendship over the years. It has truly been an honour.
