Today marks a solemn day for Australia, and one that is incredibly important in this country’s history.

On this day, we remember the bravery of our ANZACs on the 110th anniversary of their landing at Gallipoli, and the lives of all Australian service men and women who came before and after them.

The Gallipoli conflict during World War I quickly became a stalemate, spanning across 8 months. The fierce conflict was heavy in casualties and resulted in the deaths of over 8,000 Australian soldiers.

We pay our respects to those who fell for our country, and to those who currently serve to keep our home a safe place. Let us show our gratitude to our ANZACs, past and present, through a moment of silence.
