Ladies 7:00pm Physical Culture is an excellent, inexpensive and social activity that is fun for all ages. It promotes and develops good coordination, posture and discipline. Physie is a great way to keep fit and healthy whilst having fun. Weekly classes are held here in the Church Hall, where the students learn a set syllabus for their age group. Each syllabus consists of marching, deportment, breathing, exercise, relax and floor drill. The syllabus is set to modern music, changing tempo for the different exercises and age groups. The Annual Team Championships are held in September. A Team consists of six and eight girls or ladies performing in unison with each other and are judged on the precise timing of positions, posture and presentation. Champion Girl/Lady competitions are held in October and November. The competitors progress through heats, semi-finals to finals in their own age group. The Grand Final is held in November. Peter’s Physical Culture Club has its own Competition and Presentation Day. This is held on the first Saturday in December.
