🌱 Greenkeeper Wanted – Campbell Town Bowls Club 🌱

The Campbell Town Bowls Club is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help look after our greens and surrounding grounds.

This role would suit someone retired or semi-retired who enjoys being outdoors and takes pride in keeping things looking first-class.

🔧 About the role:
• General green and grounds maintenance
• Mowing, watering, and basic upkeep
• Helping maintain a quality playing surface for members and visitors

No experience is necessary — just a willingness to learn. We’re happy to show you the ropes.

✅ What we’re looking for:
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Takes pride in their work
• Enjoys working outdoors
• Able to commit to regular upkeep

We offer flexible hours, a great club environment, and plenty of support.

📢 AGM NOTICE 📢

The Campbell Town Bowls & Community Club AGM will be held on:

🗓 Sunday 17/05/26
🕐 1:00 PM

We’ll also be holding a Club Working Bee on the same day from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

🌭 BBQ lunch provided for all volunteers.

All members and helpers are very welcome — many hands make light work, so come along and help out around the club before the AGM.

Saturday we held our annual presentation dinner, and what a fantastic night it was—full of celebrations, achievements, laughter, and great memories.

From little things big things grow! 🌱 💦

Will and Aydon Crocker have sat on the side lines of a bowls green from a young age watching and supporting their idols, dad and pop! ❤️

This year Will alongside his younger brother, Aydon joined the club and played their first full season of pennant for Division 5. The team made the GF and I think everyone can agree the boys are a chip off the old block!

Congratulations and good luck to Will who will be competing in the Champion of Champions Novice Singles on the 11th of April at Longford Bowls and Community Club from 10:30am.

So if you have the time please go and show Will some support as no doubt he will be nervous.

The club is proud of you Will, enjoy the experience mate. 👏
