It's time for our 2026 Junior Competition to commence with games happening tomorrow night and Saturday πŸ₯³

🚨 Check your game location!
Games are played across two venues (The Tasmanian Netball Centre at Hoblers Bridge Road, Newstead as well as at The Northern Suburbs Community Recreation Hub on Invermay Road, Mowbray) so be sure to triple check your game on PlayHQ or the NetballHQ app πŸ“²

As usual, our trusty match officials and first aid officers will be there to assist at both venues 🫑 Should an injury occur, please find the First Aid Officer and fill in an Injury Report Form.

There is a spectator gate entry fee is $2 per person (cash or card) πŸ’΅ but under 12s are free! Also, if you are visiting both game locations, please ensure you get a hand stamp for free entry the other venue.

Each team must provide 1 person to be their scorer/timer as well as 1 qualified umpire 🏐

🎽 Uniforms:
-Players must wear their registered team uniform with dark or matching colour playing briefs
- Suitable sports footwear must be worn (no spiked soles)
- All jewellery must be removed and cannot be taped
- Fingernails must be short and will be checked by the Umpire prior to the game (if needed, nail clippers can be found in the change rooms)
- No gloves can be worn for game play
- Hair must be suitably tied back; claw clips are not allowed

Sportsmanship, Respect and Try Your Hardest πŸ’Ÿ
We encourage the entirety of the NTNA community (players, coaches, parents, supporters, umpires, etc.) to remember these important Learning Life Through Sports principles and uphold these values as good role models for our junior athletes.

πŸ” Food options will be available at both venues with the PCYC Cafe at The Hub and Urban Coffee and the Food2U kiosk at Hoblers Bridge. Please note that external meals (with the exception of athlete nutrition) are not permitted at The Hub.

That's everything! (We think πŸ˜†)
We're so excited to see you all back on the courts tomorrow! 🏐
