RIP Sophie 6/09/06 - 2/08/26 🖤🦄🪽

Words are failing me, so all I can say right now is Thank You. For everything you’ve taught me throughout our 12 years together, my special girl.

I’m incredibly grateful to Dr Rob Queensland Equine and Farm Vets for being here for her within minutes, to ease her suffering while the other ponies and I said goodbye. Thank you Rob 🙏.

Sophie was buried at home at sunrise this morning. Thank you to Peter Dunn for making a difficult time a bit easier with your care and skill.

Thank you to my friends and clients, for bearing with me if I’m little fragile this week 💔.

Back in the sandpit on Sunday, for another crack at the medium tests with my favourite 🦄. Willow was her usual perfect self 😇 and I was super happy with the improvements on our last outing. Some lovely and constructive feedback from the judges. And that’s what it’s all about - testing our training in the arena 🤓🙏.

We’re so lucky to have such quality facilities at our home grounds, thanks to the hard working Samford Equestrian Group committee and organisers. Congratulations on a superb start to the official dressage competitions Cass Garratt & team! The weather gods were finally smiling on SEG, putting on a spectacular sunny day 🌞🍀💕.
