It is with genuine sorrow we share this news.

Aedyn was a member of the Australian fencing team that toured and trained with some of our coaches and athletes while representing Aus. He had stayed with us trained with us and was a friend to all.

The loss of any young person is a tragedy but Aedyn was a genuinely nice person who will be missed by anyone who knew him.

Hi all.

Really sorry for the late notice but there is no Friday session Friday the 13th. I cannot get back to Brisbane in time

On Sunday Night we are getting together for an informal club dinner at

Jun Japanese Malaysian Cuisine (Unit 10/196 Wishart Rd, Wishart QLD 4122)

6pm

This restaurant is owned by Elizabeth Chua's (Chewy....women's epee) parents and sounds fantastic.

They are putting on a banquet style meal for us at $30 a head it sounds fantastic.

We have about a dozen spots left.

If you would like to join us for dinner and kick off 2026 please message me or text (0419731982) tomorrow so I can give them our booking numbers.

I'm looking forward to supporting a place run by one of our fencing families.

Tremendous effort for getting Vs in pools boys! Goodluck, to Jake and Lachy in the DEs - we're looking for that W in the prelim pools for a day 2 result.

Solid effort from Sam in pooles, who unfortunately did not advance into DEs and finished 316th out of 371 fencers.

I hope you have had a restful break and are looking forward to getting back on the strip.

Fencing resumes this week with our regular junior and senior training on Tuesday.

6pm for juniors and 7.30 pm for seniors.

If you have restless feet or children that need to get moving welcome back.
