Two weeks ago, we were wondering where we go from here.

Today, we're being reminded just how special the football community really is.
This week, our Director of Football, Sal Barone, spoke with Mark Levy on 2GB Sydney about the devastating clubhouse fire and its impact on Camden Falcons FC.

Through Mark's generosity and the support of Heather Garriock and Football NSW, we're already taking the first steps towards rebuilding some of the memorabilia and history lost in the fire. With signed Matildas and Socceroos jerseys and support for future fundraising initiatives, the journey back home has already begun.
These gestures won't replace what was lost, but they remind us that Camden Falcons is more than a clubhouse—it's a community.

We're on the road back home, and we're not walking it alone. 🖤❤

We were pleased to welcome Mick Willing Liberal candidate for Camden, to Willowdale Sports Fields on Saturday as he stopped by to check in with our Falcons community following the recent clubhouse fire, hear firsthand how our members are doing, and see how he may be able to assist.

One of the highlights of his visit was meeting Glenn Smith – a true Falcons legend and third-generation Falcon. Glenn played a key role in the construction of the Falcons Nest at Belgenny Reserve and continues to be heavily involved with the club today.

On Saturday, Glenn was coaching two of his grandson's teams before heading off to watch two more grandson's take the field in the U12 and U9 competitions. He also still pulls on the boots himself in our Over 35 Division 2 team, playing alongside his son Michael.

Three generations. One club. ❤️🖤

Stories like Glenn's are what make Camden Falcons more than just a football club – we're a family, built on generations of players, volunteers and supporters who continue to give back to the game they love.

It may not be Belgenny, but it was fantastic to see Falcons football in full swing at Willowdale Sports Fields this weekend. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it possible:

Paul Bertolissio and Macarthur Football Association Inc. for giving our Falcons the opportunity to play and for sharing Willowdale Sports Fields with us.
