KHANACROSS ROUND 4

Was an awesome day of racing, once again learning more and more and continuing to improve. One of my best results ever but went abit hot into a chicane on the 3rd run collecting a couple candlesticks. I copped the 10 sec penalty on the chin losing a few places but thats racing🤷‍♂️

1st in class
2nd Junior
6th Outright

KX 1 was a ripper thats for sure. Good to be back out in the car for some comp runs. Having a decent run on the first lap set me up well for the day. I was pretty stoked on setting the 6th fastest time a couple times on a few different runs.

2nd Junior

What a weekend! Competing in the Australian Khanacross Championship held by Southern Districts Car Club was a huge thing for me to compete in and I gave it a good old go. Having started the event on the Saturday I started abit slower then i would’ve liked. It had also rained all week so tracks were wet and muddy which is something very diffrent for MMM.😅

Sunday was a better day for me, starting to feel the car well and getting quicker, playing the catch up game. Made up a couple positions and ended up:
1st In Class
2nd Junior
17th Outright

Being a national event I had to compete against some different quick cars and drivers.

A big thankyou to everyone that ran the event and put all the time into organising it. Also Another big thankyou to Mal for getting me out there and continually giving advice to improve even more!

I feel very lucky and thankful to be able to compete in this event and cannot thank everyone enough for making it possible!

Ripper day today. Had a little discomfort throughout the day due to a broken rib so wasn’t able to push as hard as I wished but pushed on through the pain to finish the event. Also collecting a trophy from SEAC from the AUTOCROSS Rd 1. And also sealing the deal for the STATE AUTOCROSS SERIES OUTRIGHT for JUNIOR.
