Life lately:
Yes, we’ve been a bit slack with posting content 😱, however our lives aren’t all about socials. We’ve been having a few different weeks on and off socialising, working on ourselves, and actually being in a bit of a rut.
I haven’t wanted to actually put anything up on socials, just spend time with my close circle. ⭕️
However, for something positive, these are some of my recent eats, and what my food looks like most of the time. I try to include everything where I can - proteins, fats, carbs, fibre and some sugar because I’m not sweet enough 😛
80% of what I eat is well-balanced 🍎, however I have days where others would be SHOCKED to see what we’ve been consuming 🙊 chocolates, chips, ice cream, cookies etc. 🍦 🍫 🍟
But realistically, that’s life, and I don’t let that get the better of me. I am a fit, strong and healthy person 💪, so if I over indulge with desserts or cheeky snacks, that’s fine, I’ll bounce back quickly and get on top of it the next meal. 😎
Don’t let the thoughts of others and their opinions ruin your confidence and progress. If you feel you have a “bad” food day… fine.. accept it, and start again with the next meal. Don’t wait for the following Monday to come around, get straight back into it. 🥘
No foods are bad for you, you just have to find your balance, understand what each food contains and its effect on your body 🏃🏼♀️➡️, and you’ll feel much happier with yourself. 🥰
