📣📣 Moura Junior Open Results 2026🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️🏌

Congratulations to the 5 juniors who travelled out Moura. Saturday afternoon was full of laughs with a Green Keeper's Revenge, which involved playing shots on 1 leg or Happy Gilmore style, an entire hole played using bouncey balls or squishy handballs and pins in unusual locations 🤣 Caitlin achieved a hole-in-one by using a spoon to get her ball to the hole. Lots of fun had by all.

After a cold night of camping, the juniors competed in the Moura Junior Open.

📣📣 Congratulations to Lucas 🎉🎉
Lucas played in the Bundaberg Junior Carnival on Sunday. With a Gross score of 86 and Nett of 76 Lucas won the Division 1 Nett Runner-up Prize. Well done Lucas!

There are still some spots available for the Inaugural Graymont Charity Golf Day here at Calliope District Golf Club Inc this Wednesday.

It's amazing to see so many charity events being started and held here at Calliope District Golf Club, and it is wonderful to see so much support being extended. Hope to see everyone there 🥳👌🥇

JUNIOR SHOUTOUT! 📣⛳️

I would like to give one of our 18 hole juniors a big shout out today.

Jaxon realised he played the wrong ball and alerted his playing partner. They then found his original ball and played from there and he took his 2 stroke penalty. Jaxon was very unlucky because the wrong ball he played had the same markings as his original ball. A lot of people would have just kept quiet and played on. I think Jaxon deserves high praise from everyone for owning up to a mistake then continuing to play on.

Well done mate. Golf etiquette and honesty will always reign supreme. Very proud of you mate.

Please bring along your golf clubs, hat, a water bottle and $5 per player (comp fee) is to be paid before the round at the golf shop.

Tee times as follows:
18 holes - 7.30am
13 holes - 7.30am
9 holes - 7.45am
6 holes - 8.00am
3 holes - 8.30am

Please arrive at least 15min prior to your tee time and meet at the practice green/BBQ area.

Please let us know by Tuesday 2nd June if you would like to play in the Moura Junior Open. Either just play in the competition on Sunday Or you can head out Saturday for a fun, Green Keeper's Revenge game commencing at 12pm, then camp for Free at the golf club before playing in the competition on Sunday.
Message us to put in your nominations. It will be a great weekend for golf and loads of laughs in the Greens Keeper's Revenge!
