Another happy ending!

The ring lost out the front of Culburra School has been RETURNED!

We headed back today for one last “just in case” search. The detectors came out, the ground was scanned… and we found absolutely nothing! 😅

But then the real magic happened. While we were searching, a local mum we know (who lives just up the road) stopped to chat. She’d seen us looking and suddenly a light bulb went off! 💡

It turns out her son had found a ring after school earlier in the week and picked it up.

Yep — that’s the one!

Lost a pricey sand scoop on a winter wedding ring rescue way out in the surf (ring was found btw👍).
Thought “sweet as, it’ll wash up eventually and we will get it back.”
Found the spot last month but was not the right time or tides to dig it up (we still tried though😂)
Today was prime—mint tide, sand’s been flogged around… scoop recovery mission ON!

Bu**er me dead… pull up something same length, same metal composition(same tones)… but not the bloody scoop, what’s the chance of that!😂🤦‍♂️
