This June, we’re making Pride Month EXTRA special 💜✨

Join the Cairns Spectres for a huge morning of basketball, connection, community, celebration, and unapologetic q***r joy as we come together for our special Pride Month “Play With Pride” session 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This event is proudly centred around the LGBTQIA+ community and our amazing allies — creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming space where everyone can connect, have fun, and feel celebrated both on and off the court 💖

The court was full of awesome vibes, big laughs, rainbow hoops, teamwork, sparkles ✨ and a whole lot of community spirit. From first-timers to seasoned players, everyone brought the energy and made the day something special.

Huge thanks to everyone who came along, played, cheered, connected and helped create such a welcoming and inclusive space for all. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

A small but mighty crew hit the court for our latest Play With Pride session in Cairns! Great to see a few players come down, shoot some hoops, and bring some colour and good vibes to the court. Every session helps build the community and grow the game locally.

We’re keen to keep it rolling and see a few more faces next time!
