A little different from my usual equestrian photography this week!

I had the privilege of photographing a lovely group of Year 12 students for their formal before they headed off for the evening. It was wonderful seeing such a great group of young people celebrating a milestone together.

While horses are usually in front of my lens, moments like these remind me that photography is ultimately about people, connections and memories.

Congratulations to this cohort and their friends on a fantastic night.

The QOTT Leaderboards celebrate retired racehorses thriving in their second careers — from beloved paddock companions to elite equestrian athletes 💙

In 2026, the QOTT Leaderboards will once again recognise and reward both OTT Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds separately across all disciplines. Horses accumulating the highest points between 📅 1 November 2025 – 1 November 2026 will be eligible for awards.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: All results in ALL disciplines must be SELF-SUBMITTED in 2026.

💰 $7,000 Prize Pool!
Thanks to Queensland Off The Track and Racing Queensland, each QOTT Leaderboard Champion will receive $500! 🏆

Way to go Lahni!!! Fabulous achievement ✨✨✨
