🏆 He's a legend. Now he's coming to Cairns.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Damien Oliver — three-time Melbourne Cup winner, 128 Group 1 victories, and one of the greatest jockeys to ever grace an Australian racetrack — is joining us at the 2026 Ladbrokes Cairns Super Carnival.

Damien will be a headline guest at the Ladbrokes Sports Luncheon and Calcutta on Thursday 27 August — alongside fellow champion jockey Willie Pike — for an afternoon of incredible racing stories, premium dining, and the traditional Calcutta auction.

This one is going to be very, very special. 🙌

Introducing your host for the Ladbrokes Sports Luncheon - the one and only Britt Taylor. 🎙️✨

Britt is one of Australian racing's most recognised media personalities - a presenter, brand ambassador, and genuine force in the industry. You've seen her on SKY Racing, Channel 10's Melbourne Cup coverage, and Triple M. She holds the RWWA Media Personality of the Year award and has a passion for racing that comes through in everything she does.

She'll be hosting an afternoon featuring Damien Oliver and Willie Pike - two of the greatest jockeys this country has ever produced.

The luncheon also boasts the live Calcutta auction.
