Marlin Coast Bowls Club More than just bowls. We’re a friendly, welcoming club where community comes first and everyone belongs. Monday evening Happy Hour, cheap drinks 4.00pm- 6.00 pm.

Whether you’re a seasoned bowler, a first-timer or just keen for a great time, you’ll feel right at home in our club and on our green. Tuesday morning men’s triples: 1 pm start, dress optional. Cards called at 12:45pm

Tuesday night “bare foot bowls” – be here by 5.30pm for a 6pm start. Sausage sizzle + bowls and cash prizes. A fun night for all levels of bowler. Wednesday ladies bowls, gentlemen invited: 1pm start, dress optional, cards called at 1245pm

Thursday men’s triples, ladies invited: 1pm start, dress optional. Cards called at 1245pm

Friday Night Prize-a-rama, Gold Rush, 100 Club, Meat Tray Raffles, Bar open from 4pm and Meat Tray Draw Starts 6.30pm. Saturday jackpot Walking Pairs: 1pm start, dress optional. Cards called 1245pm

Monday Happy Hour runs from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Tuesday offers Morning Bowls at 9.00am (cards 8.45am), Men’s Triples at 1.00pm (cards 12.45pm) and Barefoot Bowls starting at 6.00pm (arrive by 5.30pm) with a sausage sizzle, cash prizes and fun for all levels.

Wednesday Mixed Bowls starts at 1.00pm (cards 12.45pm).

Thursday Mixed Self-Selected Triples begins at 1.00pm (cards 12.40pm).

Friday night features Prize-a-rama, Gold Rush, 100 Club and Meat Tray Raffles with Quiz starting at 6.00pm with the draws following. Happy Hour runs from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Saturday Scroungers start at 9.30am (be at the club by 9.15am).

Tropical Far North Queensland have taken out the inaugural IDLC Trophy!

Two Districts. Six teams. Two days. Six games. And what a weekend it was!

The standard of bowling across both days was absolutely brilliant, with some outstanding shots, close games and plenty of exciting moments on the green. The competition was played in fantastic spirit, with every player giving it their all.

But while there can only be one trophy winner, everyone was a winner this weekend. The IDLC was about giving players the opportunity to test themselves, gain experience, build confidence and enjoy some fantastic representative-style bowls. And that’s exactly what we saw.

A huge thank you to everyone who put in the work behind the scenes to make this event such a success, from the District Presidents and Secretaries, Match Committees, Managers and Coaches and special mention to our wonderful hosts at Marlin Coast Bowls Club.

To our umpires, scorers, greenkeeper, ladies in the kitchen, bar volunteers and everyone else who contributed their time, energy and support. Thank you!

Events like this don’t happen without a lot of people working together, and every single contribution helped make the inaugural IDLC a weekend to remember.

Congratulations to Tropical Far North Queensland on taking home the trophy, and well done to all six teams for making the inaugural IDLC such a fantastic event.

Here’s hoping this is the first of many!

MCBC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS - MIXED 4’s

Our Mixed 4’s Club Championship is coming up, with teams made up of 2 men and 2 ladies. There will be 3 games of Set Play, played over three Friday evenings, starting Friday 25 September. Play will commence at 6:00pm, with a 2 hour 20 minute time limit. The $20 green fee covers all three games.

To enter, you can either put your team name on the board at the club or use the unique QR code on the flyer to enter your team directly through BowlsLink. Conditions of Play can be found on the board.

Entries close Sunday 20 September, so don’t leave it until the last minute. Get your team together and get your entry in!

The inaugural Inter District Ladies Challenge is coming to Marlin Coast Bowls Club on September 12 & 13, 2026.

Three teams from each district will play three games of 18 ends over the two days, so there will be plenty of great bowls and exciting competition to enjoy!
