Happy Father’s Day punters, hope you’re enjoying it. Just finished cleaning out the creek at the front gate and pushed up the backstop on range 1b, it was amazing any water was getting through those pipes. In 2 weekends time we will have a working bee, we need to pull out the old stainless fridge to make room for a new one, mowing and tree lopping, many hands make lite work. See you there.

Just a reminder the WA1500 and Services comp will be held on the weekend of 29th and 30th of August. The range will be closed on Friday during the day for set up. Friday night Rimfire ri**es will proceed as normal. We do ask that members and guests who attend on Friday night be mindful that there will be a comp being held and to be extra careful with clean up. The range will be closed to all but competitors on Saturday and Sunday. Spectators and volunteers are always welcome!!

The Black Powder and ISSF Open concluded today. We had 7 different clubs represented from Brisbane, to Warwick, Emerald, all our neighbours in Far North Queensland and even interstate. Winners are grinners and below are a few pictures from the presentation.
A massive thank you to all volunteers, there are way too many name individually, but you know who you all are, from the range set up, range pull down, range officers, scorers, patchers, helpers in the canteen, it takes a whole village to run these events and we are truly grateful for all the help we receive.
