What’s better than THREE nights of Sprintcars?

Thunder in the Canefields heads back to Cairns Speedway this Friday and Saturday night (07-08 August 2026) for two more huge nights of Sprintcar racing - and, while we’re seen plenty of action so far, there’s still plenty more to come!
The North Queensland cars have been dominating on home turf over the past week… but can they keep the momentum rolling in Cairns?
🏁 Gwesyn Dalliston (NQ65) and Darren Mollenoyux (NQ51) have flown the flag for North Queensland with a win apiece. Can either of them make it two this weekend?
🏁 Jack Lee (V25) and Jacob Jolley (Q82) always have plenty of pace and will be right in the mix.
🏁 Kaydon Iverson, on debut in the car, parked the NQ95 on the podium in Mareeba. Can he climb a couple more steps in Cairns this weekend and keep the momentum rolling?
🏁 Karl Hoffmans (Q3) has victory lane firmly in his sights.
🏁 Brian Walsh (NQ3) and Ash Ewing (NQ99) are both chasing a spot on the North Queensland winners list - and they both have more than enough speed to make it happen.
🏁 West Aussies Ryan Farrell (WX95) and Dustin Filgate (WX31) will be keen to upset the Queenslanders and take a win back across the Nullarbor. 👀
🏁 Just don’t overlook Dan Moes (Q60), Blake Duggan (NQ66), Dan Murray (Q98), Luke Manttan (Q86), Nicholas O’Keeffe (Q20), John Magro (NQ33) and the rest of this seriously talented field.
