This weekend Caba Boardriders will be proudly represented at Seas The Day with 3 teams hitting the water 🌊🏄🏻‍♀️
Seas The Day is such an incredible event for women’s surfing — bringing together surfers of all ages and abilities in a fun, inclusive team format while celebrating the growth of women in our sport. Alongside the surf comp there’s live music, wellness workshops, guest speakers, film, photography, food and plenty happening across the weekend.
We’re stoked to have our U14 girls and Women’s team representing the club this year.
If you’re around, come down to Kingscliff, support our teams and enjoy everything the festival has to offer 🤍🏄‍♀️

Our June club round, brought to you by is locked in for Sunday 7th June.

Registrations are now OPEN on LiveHeats – make sure you get your name in before 4pm FRIDAY.

Any boy 12 or older who wants to try a boys all ages parent assist Divison that we are trialing this month please send a DM.

Location will be announced on our story and WhatsApp group Sunday morning.

As always, we’d love a few extra hands for setup, judging and pack down.

As a general rule, we run our club rounds on the first Sunday of every month (March to November) 🌊

đź“ť Sign-on Tag Team morning kicks things off on the first Sunday in February
🏆 End of Year Preso / Tag Team is usually held on the first Saturday in December (TBC later in the year).

There are a few exceptions:
• Some months we’ll run on the second Sunday (eg September, with Father’s Day on the first Sunday)
• If the conditions aren’t suitable, we may push it back to the second Sunday to score better surf.

📲 Registrations for each club round open one week prior. Make sure to register before 4pm the Friday before the club round.
đź“Ť Locations are posted on Instagram and the club WhatsApp chat the night before or morning of.

Inter-club comp dates will be updated when we receive confirmation. 🏄‍♂️

KIRRA TEAMS CHALLENGE WRAP UP

What a weekend for the club 🙌

After coming second last in 2025, we’ve come back strong to finish 9th out of 36 teams this year — an incredible improvement and something everyone should be proud of 👏

There was some seriously impressive surfing across the board from Kenta, Kyan, Billy, Seb, Tim, Ryder, Kieran and Van - really showing what Caba Boardriders is capable of on the big stage 🌊

🔥 Special shoutout to Van — stepping up from junior reserve at the last minute to surf in the Opens against some of the top names, and only missing 1st place by 0.2 points… unreal effort.

And to Kieren, saving the day with a mid-heat wax delivery to Ryder — elite support crew behaviour.

Massive thanks to for putting on an epic event and to for holding it all together behind the scenes and setting up each day, and to everyone who came down to cheer the crew on. The support does not go unnoticed 🤍

Huge weekend, epic vibes…
