2025 we will be remembered as the small but mighty club!

Our club has reduced to small numbers but this hasn’t stopped our riders from reaching their goals. Here are some highlights, but certainly not our only achievements:

Lily Steinman competed in vaulting internationally and at National Championships. Lily has always challenged herself, never been afraid to give it her all, and represented beautiful values on behalf of her club. We are so proud of you!

Hannah Melville represented PCANSW at Pony Club Nationals for U13 Showjumping state team. Hannah managed to secure a fourth in one of her classes through a very competitive week. Hannah also represented Zone 16 at the PCANSW State SJ Equitation and SJ Champs securing a number of placings and competing her first B grade. Well done!

Olivia Melville represented Zone 16 at PCANSW State SJ Equitation and SJ Champs securing reserve champion in SJ Equitation U13 65cm in a good class size!

Our other riders have all been competing locally and in open classes kicking goals.

We have no doubt missed a couple as it has been a big year! Well done to all our riders, we are super proud of your achievements no matter how big or small.

$$$$$ We are reducing our annual membership fees! $$$$$$

We know it's been tough with the rise of horse feed and hors costs. The club has decided to reduce our portion of membership fees next year to help where we can. The state, national and zone fees we cannot change.

What we do expect as a club, is every family that joins, nominates someone to be on the committee to help our dwindling volunteer numbers.

Membership will be open for renewal in January! We welcome new members!!!

Remember GGPC has dressage, showjumping and cross country facilities, with a friendly committee that will focus on bringing local professional instructors to help for 2026 activities.

Hi Gappers,

We are holding our annual AGM this rally day. The early date allows us to discuss our membership fees. Please check your emails!

We are also seeking to introduce a new policy to the club. Due to the small size we are asking all parents to nominate for a committee position. We are that small we need everyone to pitch in! If you're worried, please check the email and nominate for a small role. If you cannot attend, please email the club with your nomination.

We intend to run some rally day sessions in the morning, followed by AGM. RSVPs via Justgo can be made at this link:

Plenty of learning and fun at Gearys Gap today playing mounted games, and working through the stockman’s challenge, desensiting ponies.

Rally is on this weekend. 😱

We apologise for the late notice, unfortunately our committee has been busy!

0830 gear check for a 9am start.

Expect to do some mounted games, Stockman's challenge, and possibly showjumping.

BYO lunch and please bring a plate of morning tea to share.

No RSVP required as it has been such low numbers this year, please comment below and let us know you are coming!
