Surf Camp Byron Bay is the ultimate surf-life experience. This experience is perfect for anybody who is serious about learning to surf and wants to immerse themselves in true Australian surfing culture, while ‘living’ on the beach in Byron Bay. Byron Bay was recently voted one of the top five places in the world to learn to surf, and with the town’s cool, vibey nightlife and street scene, it’s a must on every traveller’s Aussie itinerary. Each day you’ll have a 3.5-hr, fully-equipped surfing lesson with one of our accredited and enthusiastic instructors, right on the beach where you’re staying – no lengthy bus rides first. Each lesson, your surfing skills will advance, like reading ocean conditions, balance and technique, paddling out, getting on to your own waves and standing. Soon you’ll be riding bigger and better waves for longer, and mastering board control and turns. You’ll not only improve quickly, but will also learn to read the waves, currents and tides to keep you safe, informed and aware in the water .. while developing surfing skills to last a lifetime. Surf Camp Byron Bay offers morning or afternoon sessions daily at 10am or 2pm, depending on wind and tides. The only surf camp located exclusively on the beach in Byron Bay! Your Surf’n’Stay package includes:

· Dorm share accommodation at Backpackers Inn ‘On the Beach’We have recently changed the packages so you have three options. Each individual has their own needs & wants when it comes to budget, accommodation & meals. We can also organise alternate accommodation with 5-6 star facilities when requested for additional costs.
