When I was designing these one-piece swimsuits my aim was to design a swimsuit that every woman would feel beautiful and confident in! No matter what size she wears. A lot of women struggle to feel self conscious in swimwear and thats something I wanted to change with this particular piece. I took my inspiration from silhouettes from the 50’s. I was inspired by fashion icon’s like Marilyn Monroe, women with curves who always looked so confident and beautiful! I added ruching all along the stomach, to create a slimming illusion which covers you even when you are laying by the pool on holiday eating a burger and chips (paired nicely with a cocktail of course…) I also added boy leg shorts, that elongate your legs making even short queens (5”4) like myself feel like Kendall Jenner, strutting down the VS runway. I wanted the twins to feel supported, so you could surf and swim under big waves without any concerns about displays of publicly indecency. So, I added underwire, removable padding and adjustable straps for the most support possible! I knew I absolutely loved the final product but I wasn’t sure everyone else would, as we are not in the 50’s anymore 😂 However, I am pleased to say that the one-pieces have turned out to be our best sellers! 🫶🏽 So glad you girls love them like we do.
